Frank Tobin returns from suspension to boost the Guernsey squad ahead of a six-pointer against Whitstable Town this weekend.
Tobin missed the defeat to VCD Athletic having been sent off against Sevenoaks Town, with Thomas Dodds filling in at centre-back. Tony Vance has 14 players at his disposal for the visit to the Belmont Ground in the first of a run of three fixtures against teams around them in Bostik South East, the following two games being against Herne Bay and Faversham Town.
Tom De La Mare is also out due to the injury that forced him off against VCD. Charlton Gauvain is missing as he represents the Guernsey U18s at Springfield in the Junior Muratti on Sunday. GFC representatives Callum Le Lacheur and Miles Hardill are also representing the island against Jersey.
The full squad is as follows: Stanton, Marsh, Tobin, Dodd, Dodds, Dyer, Skillen, L Mahon, K Mahon, Rihoy, Loaring, Pereira, Canha, Fazakerley.
The Green Lions have now gone six matches without victory, but that is largely down to poor home form as they have only lost one in eight on the road. They are only two points above the bottom but a win could take them up three places to 14th in a congested bottom half.
The Sarnians are level on points with tomorrow's opponents having played a game more, so a positive result is vital. They face an Oysterboys side who are the lowest scorers in the division. Their midweek fixture with VCD Athletic was abandoned due to an injury that required an ambulance, but prior to that they are without a win in 10 games in all competitions.
The two sides have met seven times in the past, the latest being a 1-1 draw at Footes Lane in December, with Matt Loaring scoring from the spot late on in a game the Green Lions felt they should have won. Their last visit to Whitstable was the Kent side's final game before relegation in 2016, when Dave Rihoy scored his 50th goal for the club but GFC ended up losing 3-1 - their only defeat against the Oystermen.
Saturday's match kicks off at 2.30pm. Fans unable to make it to the Belmont Ground can watch full live coverage on GFCTV and keep up to date via our social media channels. Highlights and the full 90-minute playback will be available over the weekend, while a comprehensive match report will also follow.
