Guernsey will once again start and finish their season away from home and can now confirm that the first two months of the season will be all away games, after the 2019/20 Isthmian League fixtures were released on 11th July.

Faversham Town are the hosts on opening day as the Sarnians head to Kent on Saturday 17th August, while the final match of the season will be at Hastings United's Pilot field on Saturday 25th April.

The Green Lions will spend all of August and September on the road as some of our fixtures have been swapped round to accommodate the fact that work on the athletics track at Footes Lane that means we cannot play at home until October. Our first home match of the season is against VCD Athletic on Sun 6th Oct.

That means scheduled home games against East Grinstead Town (Weds 21st Aug), Phoenix Sports (Sat 31st Aug) and Haywards Heath Town (Tues 17th Sep) will be swapped to the away fixtures (11th Apr, 4th Jan and 5th Feb respectively). Guernsey FC would like to thank the three clubs for agreeing to the switch.

Tony Vance's men have both Boxing Day and New Year's Day off, with the only fixture between Christmas and New Year being on Saturday 28th December as Whyteleafe come to Footes Lane, the team we also face on August Bank Holiday Monday. Our other Bank-Holiday Monday fixture, on Easter Monday, is at home to Three Bridges.

There are three new fixture pairings to look forward to with Cray Valley PM (away Sat 23rd Nov, home Sun 19th Apr), who were promoted from the Southern Counties East League; Chichester City (away Sat 14th Dec, home Sat 8th Feb), promoted from the Southern Combination; and Whitehawk (home Sun 12th Jan, away Sat 28th Mar), relegated form the Isthmian Premier Division, all new opponents for Guernsey.

Other fixtures to watch out for include the return of Burgess Hill Town to our fixture list after their relegation from the Isthmian Premier League. Guernsey face them away on Saturday 9th November and at home on Sat 7th March.

BetVictor has taken over from Bostik as main sponsor of the Isthmian League.
