Glyn Dyer could make his first appearance for Guernsey since November after making a long-awaited return to a 15-man squad selected for the visit of Hythe Town to Footes Lane on Saturday.
The midfielder has made just three appearance this season - two being very brief cameos as a substitute - after battling with injury.
Two other positive outfield additions are Keanu Marsh, who missed last weekend's trip to Molesey with a knock, and Tom De La Mare, who has recovered from illness.
Leroi Riley is also recalled following a strong display against Three Bridges a fortnight ago and is competing with Josh Addison for the number one shirt.
Dom Heaume has recovered from the injury that forced him off against Molesey - meaning the Green Lions finished the game with 10 men - but Matt Loaring hasn't made it after being substituted in the first half with a sore knee. He joins a list of those injured or building up their fitness including Liam Mahon, Josh Steel, Alex Le Prevost, Jack Domaille and Chris Tardif.
Jordan Kelly, Jacob Fallaize, Thomas Dodds, Charlton Gauvain and Robbie Legg have not been selected as they are all involved in the Guernsey squad for the U18 Muratti in Jersey at the same time.
The full 15-man squad is as follows: Addison, Riley, Marsh, Cochrane, Geall, Mackay, Martin, De La Mare, Black, Skillen, Dyer, Young, Heaume, Rihoy, Pereira.
The Green Lions are on an unwanted six-game record run without a win at home, although the 1-1 draw with Three Bridges at least ended a run of five straight home defeats. A win could take us up one place to 20th in Ryman South as we battle to avoid relegation.
The Cannons haven't won in four matches but still lie in seventh with a strong chance of reaching the play-offs. They signed a new player this week in winger/forward Tom Loynes. Our last meeting was GFC's heaviest defeat of the season, with a then-record youngest-ever squad being thrashed 8-1. The last time the Kent side visited Footes Lane - in the September of last season - we triumphed 3-1 thanks to goals from Heaume, Marc McGrath and Craig Young.
Saturday's fixture at Footes Lane kicks off at 2pm. Fans unable to make it to the match can watch live coverage on GFCTV or keep up to date on our social media channels. Highlights will be uploaded after the game and the full 90-minute playback will be available to Premium subscribers immediately following the end of the live broadcast.
